Years ago, when my husband and I were living at Stanford for his first Master’s Degree, I met some of the most amazing women. I looked up to these women so much. I had one child at the time, and most of these women had multiple children while their husbands were going through grad school.
We had a tradition of getting together for a goodbye party when someone was moving. My husband graduated in December, so I got a solo party.
At this party I was gifted a photo book with all of the wonderful friends my daughter and I had made, as well as some of my friends’ favorite recipes. I have loved this book, and have kept it for 9 years now.
One of my favorite recipes I was given was this grape salad. It is such a great recipe for a get together or pot-luck. It’s delicious and everyone will rave about it. Try it out this weekend for all of your socially-distanced BBQs.
- 2 bunches of grapes (red or green)
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- Brown sugar
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar together with a hand mixer until well combined and fluffy. There should be no lumps. Fold in greek yogurt. Mix in grapes until covered. before serving, top with sprinkles or brown sugar and your favorite granola. I used chocolate granola, but any flavor will do.
